The Best Restaurants Located In Santa Clarita CA
There are many good restaurants in Santa Clarita CA. They are in all parts of Santa Clarita CA, and there is a meal for every palate. The Whole Foods plaza is a great place to start. In the Whole Foods shopping center where you can great organic fresh fare, whole wellness products, and an awesome meat and cheese department, you can show up at opening hours at 8:00 am for their breakfast bar. They have low carbohydrate options like egg whites with melted cheese, regular eggs with peppers and onions, ham, turkey, and chicken sausages, and roasted cauliflower, broccoli, and other healthy vegetables. They also have really amazing red roasted potatoes to go with these options. So while the breakfast may cost you around $10-12 it is extremely convenient, quick, and delicious. It's simply a great way to start the day with a good meal and a good vibe. Check it out!

I really like to go to Pei Wei for lunch. They also have really good healthy options that will fire up taste buds that have been dormant. They have options under $10 and you can eat with a friend or sometimes I will even sit at the ‘bar’ facing the kitchen to watch the chefs cook and prepare the food with flames roaring two to three feet high in their faces. The poke bowl is a great option, it has three different types of fresh sushi-style fish accompanied with avocado, sprouts, scallions, carrots, ginger, wasabi, and others while atop either a bed of white or brown rice or the grain-free option of a bed of mixed greens.

This is a good option if you're in the mood for some fresh Mexican food. Café Rio makes their tortillas from scratch which embodies the entire experience. Fresh! Although not the most inexpensive place for Tacos (like Las Delicias on Lyons for their authentic street-style tacos and burritos) it sure is worth the wait and price. They have great meat options to go with their fresh tortillas made from scratch and everybody should try their homemade tortilla soup. It's spicy, healthy, and really tasty.
Islands restaurant
This is a favorite of mine as well. I love the vibe here. You go in and everybody has a smile on their face and is dressed in aloha threads while surf videos pump throughout the restaurant. They have the best chicken sandwiches around and the unlimited servings of seasoned island fries with ranch dressing are making me hungry right now. It’s also a great place to have a drink with some friends after work and sit down to watch some sports.
I'm going to have to add the fact that Val’s Surf is located within this same plaza. As an ocean lover and avid surfer, it always makes me feel good knowing that I am surrounded with this energy when I go into the plaza, and if I ever need a quick gift for a birthday or other occasion, it’s a great place to be around after eating at one of these tasty restaurants.
